Winter fairy tale
Winter here unfolds its own distinct magic. The glittering of ice crystals on the frozen lake, white-capped forests and particularly the cozy comfort of our hotel at this time of the year are a balm for the soul.
Our central location is the perfect starting point for various winter sports activities. Several great ski areas - such as the newly expanded Goldeck with the longest black ski ski run in the Alps, the family skiing mountain "Katschi", Innerkrems, the Mölltal glacier, Ankogel or Bad Kleinkirchheim - are all within half an hour’s drive.
Winter is also fun off-piste with perfectly groomed trails and frozen lakes for cross-country skiing and ice-skating. There is also an ice-rink right in the center of Seeboden. The natural toboggan runs are a true highlight for family members of all ages, where they can enjoy a thrilling descent down into the valley through snowy winter forests.
